The Way We Were
Judging from the cars in the background, this picture was taken ca. 1938 or so ... probably the year most of us were born. The photo belongs to Glenda Proctor Krause and it may be copied. If you like, I can email a larger image to you for printing. Just beyond the Phosphate Museum was a service station and then the Elementary and Junior High Schools. On the left was a building that later became the Mulberry Restuarant and I think the owner was ole man Barber. What great memories!

Hey, George. Thanks for stopping by and, more importantly, for leaving a comment. I, too, had shool-boy patrol on that corner. Also, in front of the Elementary/Jr. High School just beyond the service station on the right. David

This is EXCELLENT! I have really enjoyed visiting with my friends. Of course, many, many are several years younger than I. I really plan on going to next years reunion, if you have one.
